This list changes over time of course. We will update it periodically or you can go to this great source:http://expandedramblings.com/index.php/resource-how-many-people-use-the-top-social-media/

Generally speaking, if you’ve been using all ten on the list, you are already way ahead of the curve, but you should always be looking out for new trends, especially niche sites that are relevant to your clients.

To get familiar with those sites, open a personal account in each of them if you don’t have one already. Add connections to your network, follow others, post content, and make comments. Notice the different type of predominant content in each of them and the type of interaction between users and between users and businesses:

1.     Facebook
status updates, photos, videos
2.     YouTube

3.     Google+

5.     Linkedin

If they are new to you, we recommend spending at least 30 minutes on each of these sites every day for a week before moving forward to understanding the business tools they offer.
