A few months ago we set out on a journey to improve and promote direct communications between consumers and business owners. And now, the OwnerListens public beta is here!
OwnerListens injects fairness and efficiency into the online review world by providing a tool for consumers to directly message business owners and have issues and comments addressed.
Instead of voicing frustrations in cyberspace, the consumer benefits from the immediate resolution of the issue while the owner benefits from a satisfied customer and from preventing a negative online review (and perhaps even creating a positive one).
We’ve built the app so that it’s dead simple and fast to use. Consumers can download it on the App Store, fire it up, and it will bring up a list of nearby businesses. Pick the one you’d like to talk to, write a message (you can add a pic if you like), and submit. That’s it. No signups, no emails, no sharing of personal info.
For owners and managers using OwnerListens is equally easy. Once you sign up here, you will begin receiving messages from consumers in your OwnerListens inbox. You can respond to them as you would any other email message. If you choose to provide us with a phone number, you will receive messages via SMS and can respond immediately by texting back (we won’t charge you anything, but your standard carrier fees apply). It takes less than a minute to respond to your customers and keep them happy. And, it’s FREE!
